Sentomyo

Sentomyo literally means a thousand votive lights. In Beppu, this is an annual event to enjoy an amazing illuminated world and an autumn tradition.About 24,000 lanterns made of paper and candles are displayed at the center of Beppu park. Moreover, lanterns made of woven bamboo and an Illuminated bamboo forest grace the night of the park.The combination of those lights creates a fantastic atmosphere throughout the park.
